Hubli Saree – Handwoven Revival
Rooted in the weaving traditions of North Karnataka, the Hubli saree is a heritage textile with a history spanning over two centuries. Once an essential part of everyday attire for married women in rural communities, this craft has been thoughtfully revived by Punarjeevana.
A defining element of the saree is its distinctive gadi dadi border, characterized by structured lines and delicate floral motifs that reflect grace and timeless beauty. The classic combination of a vibrant red border paired with a soft pink body adds a striking yet balanced visual appeal.
Designed for modern ease, this saree is reversible and ready to wear, featuring dual pallus that offer versatility in draping and styling.
Each saree is handwoven, and slight irregularities in weave or texture are natural, adding to its unique character and authenticity.
